A superhero at large in Boca Raton – retirement proves way too tame for this fearless ex-cop
Boca Raton, FL, February 25, 2008 - Eddie Perlmutter comes from a long line of fighters – his grandfather survived life under siege from Cossacks in Russia, before he moved to Boston. To survive life in this tough city, this little Jewish kid proved himself to be quite the amateur boxer. He became a cop – the one and only thing he ever wanted to be – and managed to survive a tough career in one piece. When it comes time to retire, the widowed Eddie decides to move to Boca Raton, Florida since his well worn body had had enough of t he New England winters. Trouble seems to find Eddie after he discovers there is a very dark side of life lurking under the tranquility of this scenic paradise. Country-club politics and early-bird specials are not enough for this tough ex-cop who gets back in the game by singlehandedly busting up a ring of Russian counterfeiters, winning the gratitude and respect of the local police chief. Realizing how this fearless maverick and his aversion to injustice could be a benefit, the chief drops a subliminal hint to Eddie that he should get his private investigator’s license. Unfortunately, the one thing Eddie didn’t count on was becoming the local hero, the Knight of Boca Raton.
Move over Dirty Harry, there is a new superhero in town, complete with arthritic knees, only this cop isn’t in New York or Chicago – he’s in Boca Raton – not exactly your normal hotbed of crime! Boca Knights (Forge Books) is the premiere novel of Steve Forman. It is both thrilling and hilarious – a fast and funny one-man crime fighting show that will have the reader on the edge of their seat and in stitches – all at the same time! Forman has managed to make the story of a retired ex-cop poignant, exciting, loaded with suspense, and uproarious – no easy feat to accomplish. www.palleyad.com

KOREAN GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS USOCIAL FOR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
Brisbane, Australia -- Korea's Department of Tourism (http://visitkorea.or.kr) has commissioned controversial web traffic company uSocial (http://usocial.net) for a large-scale advertising campaign to boost awareness and interest in foreigners looking for interesting and unique tourist destinations. Launching sometime in April, it will span all social bookmarking sites that uSocial target which include Digg, StumbleUpon and AOL's Propeller.
"We were approached by the operators of the VisitKorea website with a proposal to generate a high volume of traffic over a period of several months and they had a number of visitors in mind which was high, but definitely achievable," said uSocial owner Leon Hill. "Over the period of the campaign, which should be complete in under three months, we estimate to send several million high-quality visitors their way."
Since uSocial have been operating, this will be their largest client to date, both in status as well as the substantial five-figure price-tag attached to the campaign.
"We're definitely looking forward to seeing what we can do for them and it's exciting to have such a high-profile client on board." Said Hill. "It's a major buzz for us that in only three months we've managed to attract clients such as this. We're not just marketing for business anymore, but in this case, marketing for an entire nation."
The web traffic company have been causing controversy around the internet since their December 2008 launch due to their sale of votes on some of the world's most popular social bookmarking sites.

Feature Documentary "BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE" World Premiere and release dates announced.
Dallas, TX, February 17, 2009 – BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE follows Michael Roland Williams, filmmaker, and his girlfriend Karen Noseff, founder and designer of Fortune Denim and recent winner of D Magazine’s 10 Most Beautiful Women in Dallas, in their struggle to regain their livelihood and well-being after unknowing exposure to high levels of various molds that infested Karen’s apartment in Dallas. The documentary delves into the lives of many as it explores the controversial mold issue
BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE will premiere at Landmark’s Magnolia theatre in Dallas, April 18, which they’re calling a “Black Carpet” Event instead of the proverbial red carpet. The documentary is a first-ever look into the lives of individuals claiming to be ill from toxic mold and the controversial and volatile climate surrounding it.
Unable to work due to illness, Michael produced and directed the film from a desk in the living room of Karen Noseff’s grandmother’s home. He funded the production of the film by playing online poker prior to laws being passed making online poker illegal in many states.
Karen was forced to drop out of her second year of law school at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman school of Law in Dallas, because she was unable to attend due to her health. Unable to work or attend school at the time, she developed Fortune Denim, a premium denim line adorned by many Hollywood celebrities (www.fortunedenim.com).
A growing number of people from all ages and walks of life claim mold made them ill while physicians, lawmakers and medical associations dispute the validity of these claims. Most of the symptoms of those claiming illness from mold can be caused by, and diagnosed as, any number of other illnesses. There are no standardized methods to measure what molds, at what exposure levels, over what period of time, might cause any given person to become ill. BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE explores the bizarre illnesses associated with exposure to toxic mold and the film participants’ impossible task of regaining their health and lives in an atmosphere of political and social intolerance and disbelief.
“There’s a lot of controversy surrounding mold and whether it can cause illness. There’s a lot of people, including experts and people in the general public, that think mold can’t cause illness.” Michael said. “It made me and Karen allergic to the entire world, even indoors.”
Screenings of BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE are scheduled for April 21, 22 in Dallas, TX, April 28, in Austin, TX, May 12 in San Diego, CA, May 14 in Boston, MA, May 19 in Seattle, WA, May 26 in Houston, TX, and June 16 in Chicago, IL. For more information on the upcoming release of BLACK MOLD EXPOSURE visit www.blackmoldexposuremovie.com.
